TestDrive Infrastructure 2511: Demo Account Updates

Demo User

In DemoZone, most activities run in TestDrive’s enterprise hybrid cloud architecture and your demo user account is an Active Directory (AD) user within.

The following changes have been implemented to demo user accounts.:

  • Your username stays the same, but your demo account’s first and last names consist of the first two letters followed by a random number. Ex. Charles Babbage: Ch1092 Ba6892
  • In UEM, your organization’s email address is no longer set. Instead, the demo account’s email address (username@asismon.com) is now set in UEM. This approach maintains demo user account anonymity while allowing notifications across Workspace ONE to your demo mailbox--provided you have Office 365 enabled. Note that TestDrive users do not have a demo mailbox by default, but you can activate Office 365 in the TestDrive portal if you require a demo mailbox.
  • UEM privacy settings are no longer enabled on email and first/last names, freeing up UEM console views on those fields.

Note Omnissa Connect-enabled activities in DemoZone use your Omnissa Account.

Demo User Password Policy

  • A new demo account password policy with password rotation is in effect. Click here for details.

Device Enrollment

  • Demo usernames were kept the same to help with the transition. However, the local AD is new which has resulted in the creation of new user security IDs. Consequently, all devices must be re-enrolled using your demo user.
